This is a moment of contradictions. It is June, and the middle of winter. The surface is a blinding expanse of white - salt not snow. We are bundled in jackets, riding our bikes. Eight months cycling from Patagonia to Bolivia taught us the freedom of bikes and an open itinerary, and introduced us to a global family of cyclists living their dreams on roads less travelled.
